Please continue to pray that God would raise up Biblically qualified men to be elder pastors in our church. We have begun some training with a couple of our men and look forward to what God will bring to fruition.

As these men are mentored and trained, I would ask that you be intentional in your observation of them so that we know that they have a good reputation inside and outside the church. As the only elder and pastor of our church, I am Scripturally tasked with finding, training and appointing these men to office. Please pray for God to help me in this. As such I will be using Scripture as my basis for determining this and looking for the following answers:

Do these men meet the qualification in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9? Can they say with the Apostle Paul, "Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ" (1 Corinthians 11:1)? Are they willing to learn? Are they teachable? Are they able to take what they learn and apply it? Can they clearly communicate what they are learning to others?

May God be generous to us in providing the right oversight and leadership that is necessary for our church to fed, protected and led.
